Top Real Estate Agent in Georgia | Heather Murphy

With over a decade of experience, Top Real Estate Agent in Georgia Heather Murphy of Keller Williams Realty in Savannah, Georgia, brings an abundance of expertise to residential real estate. Her balance of a personalized touch with her clients and a diligent working style has built a flourishing business. Ranked as a top team in sales production locally, in the state of Georgia and region for Keller Williams, the Heather Murphy Real Estate Group has emerged as one of the elite teams in the Greater Savannah area.

A Savannah native, Heather first discovered her passion for real estate at an early age. During her junior year of high school she shadowed an agent on career day and found she really enjoyed the process. Heather then attended Brewton Parker College where she studied business and met her husband Sean. While in college she assisted Sean in starting his restaurant marketing business, which is one of the top firms in the Savannah area. After Sean’s business got a solid footing, Heather decided it was time to pursue what she was passionate about, selling homes. She completed the online course in just a few short weeks, got her license and has been selling ever since. “I feel I have found my calling.”

Heather believes what separates her in this business is her passion. “I am not in this business just to make money; I truly enjoy what I am doing and consider myself a real estate matchmaker.” Heather further explains that her keys to success are communication and setting expectations up front with both buyers and sellers. Offering clients both a buyer and seller consultation, Heather’s team finds out what is most important to both the buyer and the seller from the very start and addresses any questions they might have throughout the process. “Communication is key and setting realistic expectations is paramount from day one.”

Overall Heather has worked in the real estate business for 11 years and led two teams during that time. When her original business partner moved away from the Savannah area in 2011, she quickly started the Heather Murphy Real Estate Group. Her new team hasn’t missed a beat, covering a region that includes Bryan, Chatham and Effingham counties. “I have a team of experts that specialize among a variety of fields,” explains Heather. “I have two buyers’ agents on my team. Nancy Stanley specializes in working with military and corporate relocations, and Penny Flowers services our investors and first time buyers. In addition, Heather specializes in new construction and custom homes.

Heather’s professional marketing approach was recognized by HGTV when one of her listings won their coveted Doory Award. Heather’s team is completely vertical which includes a stager, a photographer, a marketing coordinator, a listing administrator, a buyer administrator, a full time lead coordinator/customer service manager and a showing assistant. “We have a lot of experience on our team, so even if they are not actively selling, they all still play an essential role in the ever growing success of my company.”

Outside of real estate, Heather and Sean enjoy spending time together with friends and family, traveling and boating, but their biggest joy is their three year old twins Brayden and Madison. “Balancing a successful company and an amazing family is what keeps me grounded.” Giving back by supporting the military and local organizations keeps her involved with the local community. Heather is also a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Realtors and the Home Builders Association.

Ultimately it’s living by the Golden Rule and putting her customers first that means the most to Heather. “Customer service is always my top priority. I love helping a buyers dream come true or helping a seller no matter what their situation is, upgrade to a larger home or downsize. I put myself in their shoes and treat them how I would want to be treated in any deal that I am working on.” It has been that drive and passion that truly makes the Heather Murphy Real Estate Group special.
